Our first date was on December 26th, 2013 when Patrick jokingly asked Hannah to go see Disney’s Saving Mr. Banks at the movie theatre. Since it was Patrick’s senior year at North Forsyth High School, it meant that he was about to head off to college the next fall. We knew that long distance would be hard, but we had no idea exactly how hard we would work to build and maintain our relationship - one that had just started a few months before. Patrick would travel from Kennesaw to Forsyth County almost every weekend so that he could see Hannah as much as possible. When Hannah made the decision to go to Auburn, we were nervous about the drastically increased distance between us (we had gone from a twenty-minute drive, to an hour drive, and now a two-and-a-half hour drive!), but knew that we had a strong foundation and were confident that if God felt that it was meant to be, we would make it though it. After 6 years, 2 months, and 10 days of dating, in The Most Magical Place on Earth, Patrick asked Hannah to be his wife! We have been waiting for this day for so long and are so excited to share it with you.
